Kenleigh had her dance recital Saturday. She did so good. I am so very proud of her. Her cartwheels were great...I had no idea. She really likes dance and tumbling. She is such a drama queen! (Oh, photography by Maegan Blair!!)

I'm a big girl now!

Kenleigh had her K-4 graduation!!! She did so good...She has learned a lot at First Baptist and I am so thankful. And, of course, little brother watched!

Baking cupcakes

Yesterday was Mylie's 5th birthday. She and Skyler came over and I let them bake mini cupcakes...Oh, what a mess...but well worth it. The cupcakes were not good at all!!! I don't know what happened, but they ate them anyway.

What a wonderful time!

Skyler and Mylie came to our house Saturday. The three were filling up cups with water and throwing it on each other. Kenleigh came in and said, "Mama, we are having such a great time!" I mean out of all the toys and swing set and everything else these children have to play with, they have a great time with a cup of water!!!!

Sydney came back with a slip and slide for Mylie's birthday....then it was on!!!!

They slid the rest of the afternoon.

They enjoyed their popscicles on the slip and slide also!

Jones had a great time watching. He loves being outside. And, of course, always smiling!

Kenleigh's fashion statement

I know it's been a couple of days since I've updated. So, that means I have a lot to post!

Getting back to Kenleigh's fashion...I took a pic of her one day last week to show her great style!!!

Notice the blue and whit headband, orange shirt and pink shoes!! And when I tell her that it doesn't match and it is not cute, this is her response, "Yes it is mama, I can't believe you said that!" ONE OF A KIND!!!

A day in the life of Kenleigh!

Well, the field trip to the science museum was great. The kids all had a lot of fun!
So, we're getting dressed this morning and Kenleigh is determined to wear a dress today. She does have a few cotton dresses that she can wear to daycare, however do you think she came back in one of those???? Of course not!!! She walks in my room wearing a pink linen dress with smocking on the top, and to top it off, it is a size 3T!!!!! I chose not to fight that battle this morning and I let her wear it. Oh, and the shoes, red flip flops.
Don't forget the Relay for Life is Friday night. Come by the bank's tent!!

Jones enjoys his story time!

I had to share this!! After I dressed Jones this morning, I laid him back in his bed so I could finish getting ready. I woke Kenleigh up and went back to my room. The baby monitor was on and I heard Kenleigh talking. She had gone in Jones' room and started reading him Brown Bear. It was so cute, I had to sneak in and take her picture!!! She read him the whole book!


I am going on a field trip with her class tomorrow. That should be interesting. We are going to the science museum. I'm sure I will have plenty to share about that. Tim and I are also going to the coast this weekend for an anniversary get away.

A little about us!!!

I'm new at this, but am loving the idea!!!

Our little girl, Kenleigh, is 5. She is such a girl, too. Of course, she thinks she is a princess, and i guess i could be much to blame for that. She is one of a kind, and we never know what is going to come out of her mouth!! Kenleigh is into make-up, clothes, etc....she loves dressing up. She is also in dance and gymnastics. She has decided to play t-ball this year(we haven't figured out why, yet, because she has never even held a bat in her life.) Kenleigh is also into the whole cowgirl thing. She loves riding horses, but i think she likes the cowgirl fashion more!!!

Jones, is our 4 month old. He is absolutely precious!!! I was kinda concerned when i found out i was having a boy, but the Lord knows what he is doing. He is an excellent baby, much different than my first. Jones smiles all the time and is an extremly happy baby. I enjoy my time with him so much. His big sister is also so in love with him.

Tim and I have been married for 7 years,(well, it will be 7 on the 27th.) And, were high school sweethearts!!! We have been together since we were 15. He is a MESS!!!!

This is a great way for everyone to keep track of our life, crazy as it is. I am very excited about this.
